Any act or song that is more novelty/obscure than professional/established shouldn’t be on a list like this. Madonna covering a genuine hit badly? Sure. Shatner covering a Beatles experiment in Shatner-speak? I don’t think so.

Although I like British band leader Ted Heath's version of
Oakie Boogie, with Lita Roza doing the vocal, I prefer the
original version by Jack Guthrie & His Oklahomans. Lita's version pleasant to listen to, but Jack's version will make you want to get up and dance.
