South Philly Italian killed. Always the last whites to leave for some reason.
“We” left some time ago.
Back in the old days, some of the South Philly Italian citizens would have taken care of things, if you get my drift.
I noticed the same thing in Chicago. The older Poles, Italians, Lithuanians etc tended to stay in their old original enclaves well beyond the “safe” time to leave as the city turned awful all around them. A lot of them paid dearly for it.
I understand the leaving part.
But almost every ethnic group have lost their home territory be it Italian or Polish or German.....sad
