I also visited Disneyland in the summer of 1964 during ‘Big Band Week’. Saw Benny Goodman in concert leading his full orchestra.

Also performing around the park’s various venues were the orchestras of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Wayne King.

I had exposure through records to various kinds of good music as a child...classical, jazz, et cetera :)
