I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble with your lungs. I haven’t played in years. I have sarcoidosis, had a big flare-up of it back in 2007, and it reduced my lung capacity. I had a lot of great experiences and have some great memories. The Best of Health to you!
Sorry about the sarcoidosis. I have a good friend in Oklahoma who is also dealing with sarcoidosis. I suspect the lung capacity problems will put a limit on the level of proficiency I can rebuild. Performing in bands and orchestra settings was some of the best times of my life. Still have lots of friends from the band on the green side of the lawn.
