It’s pretty much epidemic here! White, non- hispanic anglos make up 60% of the population. Increasingly we need non whites to push through conservative majority issues. We should be rolling out the red carpet for those of any color who have conservative principles & morals & constitutional ethics. Can you imagine a black or brown American signing on here & reading what a lot of these folks have to say. It’s no wonder 90% of black America doesn’t vote conservative Republcan. Would you think you were welcome in a forum in which a large portion of posters talk about your genetic inferiority or basic propensity to live like wild animals. I’m not in any way saying that I think that some degree of racism, etc. isn’t normal, I think to varying degrees we are all guilty of it. Perhaps it’s even a baser instinct to human nature. I’m certainly guilty of it I’m sure. But some of the stuff that people are posting- it makes me cringe at the thought of conservative black & brown folks reading it & coming away thinking that they aren’t welcome. Winning elections and controlling policy pretty much means that you need every possible vote that you can get- especially when the stakes are so high. Are we really in a superior enough position that we can write off that many possible voters because we choose to talk & act like Dicks? 🫣😑😒
