1950’s. Much of a era reasonably described as the “good old days”. Now so far in the rear view mirror that it’s disappeared below the horizon.
I support Hawaiian Independence.

As does Virtual Reality (VRam). And so does China which would just love to move into Pearl ... before moving into California.
Just seeing the headline made my heart sink
All those people that were in those cars jumped into the ocean......there was no other choice for them!
I will bet that they have found many more charred bodies than they are reporting.
Those poor children......that EVIL WATER GUY HAS MUCH BLOOD ON HIS HANDS....SO DOES THE TOTALLY INCOMPETENT SIREN GUY! THROW THEM IN A VOLCANO, HAWAIIANS!
No reason we couldn’t make a deal to keep our bases there.
What about middle, jr high, and high school children?
The state department of education has the enrollment of all school age children on the islands and which schools they attend. Also they have data on private and home schooled children for this is reported as well.
A good start would be to assume the total enrollments of children were lost as well as 1 caregiver per household. Where are the teachers? Did they all live out of town?
Enquiring minds want to know........
WWG1WGA!
East Coast NJ here. With the exception of the little 7 year old boy who died in a car, I haven’t heard of one child’s dead. The one childs death was reported from Daily Mail, a foreign newspaper.
Ask important questions, get stomped on by The Regime.
Remember the “Georgia Guidestones”: “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”
Gotta kill a whole lot of peasants for the Ruling Class to get its utopia.
some freeper will suggest they have been sold to pedophiles.
Unrelated, but have you ever watched the video from Clark AFB when Mount Pinatubo went off?
The mayor of Maui, Richard Bissen, said that 850 people are still missing. The same day the governor said 1,100 are missing... Bissen was asked by reporters ten days after the disaster how many children were missing. He responded: “I don’t know.” When pushed by increasingly angry reporters he said he’d tell them if he knew... It is now common knowledge that the schools were closed that day and children were either home alone or with grandparents since their parents were all at work.
I recall seeing some of the footage.
They’re mostly dead. It’s being covered up, for political reasons, by the fake news mafia under the fiction that they’re “missing.” CNN, MSNBC, Politico and the Wash. Post, etc., are sick and depraved organizations.
Native Hawaiians despise whitey and have no reason to keep them around, after they have successfully made the US smaller and weaker. Chinese pay better, and they are already a growing minority.
The Japanese who live in Hawaii, want no part of the ChiComs.
I think the second picture is what used to be a shopping center and hotel. It was made of wood. So were most of the houses (almost the universal construction material for American homes). Wood burns.
Nursing homes, schools, hospitals, medical manufacturing facilities, pharmacies, etc. must be made of steel and concrete. Fire and mold are the primary reasons.
Not that the kids would not have died in their school; the smoke would probably get them. But at least they were in a building that would not burn and they were right beside the ocean where they could escape.
So why send kids to homes that are inherently flammable when the school building is not? That makes no sense.
If kids are kids like we were back in the 50’s and 60’s, if there was a fire in the neighborhood it attracted kids like a magnet. Without the folks stopping them, I fear many ran towards the flames and not away.
Really bad blood between Japan and China, perhaps worse then Korea and Japan.
That's no concern for the left. All the dead with continue voting democrat.
