During an interview with Tucker Carlson, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr warned that there are thousands of so called ‘scientists’ developing killer bioweapons inside America without oversight.
The topic was raised when the pair began to discuss biolabs in Ukraine, with Kennedy noting that the U.S. “has biolabs in Ukraine because we are making bioweapons.”
He then went on to state that “Anthony Fauci got all the responsibility for bio-weapons development,” adding that after three bugs escaped from three labs in the U.S. “In 2014, 300 scientists wrote to President Obama and said ‘you’ve gotta shut down Anthony Fauci, because he is going to create a microbe that will cause a global pandemic.'”
“And so Obama signed a moratorium and shut down the 18 worst of Anthony Fauci’s experiments, where most of them were taking place in North Carolina by a scientist called Ralph Baric,” Kennedy added.
He then explained that Fauci outsourced many programs offshore to avoid scrutiny.
Kennedy also warned that there are currently “36,000 ‘death scientists’ who are now employed full time in developing microbes that can be used to kill people.”

RFK Jr. is a leftist nut. He is not a scientist and knows nothing about how science is carried out, but he has no qualms about saying the most ridiculous things.
First of all, it is illegal to create a bioweapon. It is illegal to even make changes to a pathogen or toxin that makes it more virulent. And we do not have the technology to create a new pathogen from scratch, that is, by making a DNA or RNA genome and using it to grow a pathogen. We have our hands full just trying to understand the biology of pathogens; we do not have a sufficient understanding of the interactions between pathogen and host to be able to create a pathogen.
Second, Congress funds most research, including the research on organisms that could be used for bioterrorism. They receive annual reports of the research that was done. Does anyone think that a group of scientists could deviate from their research plan and start (illegal) work on making a pathogen more virulent without someone noticing?
Why is anyone paying any attention to a leftist kook who is spouting conspiracies that *might* make decent science fiction but are not possible in the real world?
What was going on in the laboratory in Wuhan? What is a furin cleavage site?

There are those freepers who would happily inject themselves with it if it were in a syringe.
Of course it is illegal but violations have been well documented for over 30 years (Russia, China probably North Korea, Iran, Libya and Syria) which is why these countries continue to resist a serious effort at verification. And probably why the US had labs in places like Ukraine.
