we've not been playing correctly.

I've been here for a couple of generations and I have learned SO much just by reading what FReepers all over America (and a few from other lands) have to say, and I think the common denominator for what have been losses and set-backs is the manner in which we see, and play the game.

Politics IS a game, albeit a game that involves and has consequences for real people, their lives and futures and an ultimate vision/goal for humanity.

I have always defined "Conservative" as one whom conserves, or saves (from destruction/disappearance), and coupled with Patriotism (the root being "pater" or father), MY position has been one of understanding a little about why America and The USA were uniquely formulated and that formulation was as perfect a government as sinful men could come up with and manifest and I, as a citizen of that nation was in strong resistance to change. A kind of change that would ultimately change ME, my way of life and (they would want to hope) the way I think.

THAT is a short game, reactionary way to deal with the political world.

The longest game in history is the relationship man has with his religious/spiritual reasoning. We have been asking why am I here and what's it all about Alphy and have never really concluded any of it . . . . Until a nation was formulated and developed UNDER the diectives and "legislation" of the God od Abraham, thye Judea/Christian model (and hand book) for the way peaole, human beings, citizens of a nation should act BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY THINK.

Our founders were ALL ABOUT posterity.

Pos·ter·i·ty
/päˈsterədē/

noun

1. all future generations of people: "the victims' names are recorded for posterity"

.. . . . and we've been tricked into thinking, believing and living selfishly for now.

We don't think that way and consequently don't act that way.

We were birthed as a nation because of what we believed now, would manifest itself in the future, without us.

Posterity.

The closest we come to that these days is to send our kids to college, or provide some kind of material (money, land, tools, whatever) in our wills . . . WITHOUT PROVIDING A MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT . . . . that THEY have a posterity and must provide a way of thinking beyond THEIR now and reality.

It's almost a moot and not well mused upon thought and practice of worshiping the same God that GUIDED OUR FOUNDERS' THINKING, and we are subsequently reaping the benefits of that laziness and Satanic leading.

Disregarding all the finer points of America parsed, let's consider on a whole; When we were a "religious" nation, (and we were not afraid or ashamed to say we are Christian), we progressed as a nation.

We built things, we imagined and developed great things, we grew and matured, to the envy of the world, as no nation nor society had EVER in human history, and we did it all in crappy cloth diapers tediously washed by a mother at home cooking and cleaning while dad was out working . . . . or butt naked, whil mom cooked and sewed while dad was out working. . . . . a plan set forth BY God, in the beginning of the first government, the family FOR POSTERITY ;

Go, subdue the Earth and multiply.

Why have we strayed from such a simple plan?

Because we were tricked into thinking . . . . (as a man THINKETH, so is he in his heart) . . . thinking we were an immediate cause for concern and lost a natural curiosity about the future and settled on now.

I believe every trouble and element we are aware of in America today can be associated with "What do/can we do NOW about . . . "

I believe if we cannot afford something, it is because we always thought there'd be a way out or of correction if some element we counted on (but we called it Planned for) should fail.

We've allowed the most vile evil . . . the spiritual, Biblical, scriptural kind . . . to become a NOW thought process, when in fact the evil we allow today was described and dealt with by the same God that led our founders and . . . our parents and/or grandparents,k before we cam along and decided the old way was broken and non functioning and that a new way was preferential.

God has never changed and neither should we, not in thought, word or deed.

Return ye . .

A huge part of the problem is that the “referees,” the mainstream media, have become hardline cheerleaders for the Left making it very difficult if not impossible to even play the game at all.

The left's "long game" is a simple one: Destroy, destroy, destroy, all the while claiming the destruction is necessary to gain paradise on earth.

This is the Angela Davis - Herbert Marcuse secular religion of the left. They do not care how often it fails. A failure only means they have to destroy more next time. It is a matter of faith for them.

As the intelligentsia in this country, starting with the Progressives, rejected God and accepted the role of god(s) for themselves and the state, this secular faith has gained more and more adherents. Not coincidentally, the proponents of this faith grow rich and fat on the secure funding from the government, to do their destruction.

They see the education system as their leverage to effect the destruction of our society, culture, and government structure.

The Rat Party's patron “saint” is Saul Alinsky. I'll bet that nobody at GOP Headquarters has even *heard* of him,let alone read his book.

It's a dinosaur problem. The Republicans want to return to pre-Trump politics where they can say one thing while campaigning and do the opposite while in office.

The Bush's want the Bush dynasty, Romney another chance at the Presidency with McConnell as the RINO majority leader in the Senate. Then they think they would be able to make our country into the socialist state that they envision.

This as opposed to the socialist state the Democrats envision (Communism if they can get it).

The trouble is that the majority of Americans want neither version.

Some have called for a third party for a least a generation, OK fine. However to do this we need a second party initially.

The uniparty/swamp/deep state whatever you want to call it is the real enemy, basically not rat or GOPe but whoever can elected at any given time working together to corrupt and enrichen themselves. Unions for fed employees for example, you have to be kidding. The central fed gummit is the entity that bankrupted ($35 trillion in debt) and destroyed any morals in the federal system. The Founders gave us the power to fix things and it is called voting, however it is this entity that the American people collectively allowed to get corrupted and we have gotten what we’ve earned.

It is us that needs a change and if the past is any indication it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better, IOW a total collapse is what it will take.

Thinks become much clearer when you understand that the “game” isn’t Republicans versus Democrats but it’s the elite versus everyone else. Democrats and republicans are on the same team. They good cop/bad cop the people constantly in order to keep getting voted in and retain power. But they both have the same goal: Enrich themselves, their friends, their families and their overseas cronies at the expense of the American taxpayer. Trump is the agent of change. He is (still) in the process of taking over the Republican party in order to stop this.

It’s not a short game vs long game issue. They’re all on the same team.

Certain parts of the national machinery have a greater impact, and the Dems understand that. They took the school system and the media, and now are flexing in the legal system.

Republicans have been advancing in the state legislature and governor offices. We will see who has more.

Imagine still thinking that the Democrat and Republican leadership are on different teams.

The ones running the country are the unelected career bureaucrats. The president and the members of Congress just do their bidding. If they don't, they get the Trump treatment.

It was a nice country we used to have.

The world has changed a lot in 50 years. Fewer and fewer independent businesses. More big corporations. More government agencies and employees. More activists. More people who want government grants.

Many college educated people are indoctrinated, believe what they see on the news, and are susceptible to propaganda. The rest of the country isn’t as easily swayed by the news, but that means that many tend to go on voting Democrat as they always did. Add in people who believe they have to vote Democrat for ethnic or identity reasons and that’s close to or more than a majority of voters. That’s why it’s not 1972 or 1984 anymore.

Why aren’t Republicans better fighters? Democrats want stuff from the government. Politicians make deals: I support what you want if you support what I want. Republicans want less from the government, and they want the government to do less. It’s hard to make deals on that basis. Also, Republicans are bound by notions of decency that the Democrats let go of years ago.
