I was sure this was a satire, maybe The Bee, until I read the term: Jigaboo. Unfortunately, as old fashioned and minstrel related this term is, it is also still widely used by some black folks to denote someone who loiters, selling dope.
Some use it for those who join the Shoplifting Mobs ruining our malls right now.
Another name could have been chosen.
A couple of Boomers in my own family still use it for Bums.
I heard it (jigaboo) often when I was growing up. Later it was shortened to Jig, as in dancing a jig.
