Please take a look at my post #39. It all depends on where that one cop was standing when the bullet was fired. Either he was in danger, or he was not.
I will accept that milliseconds matter. The cop is in danger. Then an instant later he is not. Somewhere in that brief timeline a shot is fired. It will take a jury to sort that out.
I posted a link to the video I watched which was more complete. He was knocked backwards off his feet by the car.
