Excerpt says she inked herself during a period of mania and trying to prove herself as an artist.
Supposedly, she only inked a couple of lines on her face. But the nasty words were apparently the work of a boyfriend she refuses to name. This boyfriend allegedly got her drunk and he and his buddies tatted her up and assaulted her in a hotel room. Whether or not there really was a boyfriend is the question I was left with. Given her bi-polar, she may very well have done it to herself.
If she did it to herself, it wasn’t against her will. Something doesn’t make sense here. But then I don’t think that tattoos or other forms of self-mutilation make any sense to begin with.

Pretty standard woke young female behavior - no accountability. Their anxiety, emotions and foibles are someone else’s fault, usually a man’s.
