IIRC Kirks’ “solution” was a physical fight between the two opposing leaders so they could feel the pain of real conflict and maybe stop the virtual war....doubt it work...and dreams like this must not pass on...

Yeah, if I recall the point he made was, what culture? They were stagnant, with their lives revolving around that stupid 'war', and being comfortable with it. Past time to put an end to it, move on and forward.
