My blood pressure has skyrocketed - from a lifetime normal 100/70 to as high as 220/150. I went to the ER because I was dizzy and they said I was at stroke level. They were only able to bring it down a little before I was allowed to leave.

One nurse at a regular physical made a statement that changed everything. I have been taking acetaminophen for years for a spinal cord injury as I cannot tolerate pain medication. When I was discussing how horrible I felt with back pain and the bp issue, she said that all kinds of things could cause my bp to rise such as....TYLENOL. I stopped taking it immediately - after ten years of taking a ‘benign’ helpful drug every morning, during the day and at night time.

My bp now- 100/70

Oh, and the pain medication that had helped me so much had acetaminophen in it.

NOT a doctor, not in any kind of medical field, just sharing my experience.

Best OTC cure for pain and arthritis - CBD oil has no THC
my favorite was Tommy Chong’s CBD oil. His testimony is
so very telling of the times we live in, he spent a year
in jail for nothing.

I'm not a doctor either however I've had five hospitalizations in the last five years, all cardiac related. My bp averages around 130/70 or 170/82.

It's gone up as high as 170/94 many times.

I have an anxiety condition(something that seemed to come out of no where in the last few years) and sometimes have to take Xanax for it. I've found in a situation that when my bp has spiked way up a 0.5mg Xanax will bring those numbers down to around 130/68)or 70) in about twenty minutes. I wouldn't recommend this as a regimen because of the possibility of dependence but just as a suggestion perhaps you might ask your doctor about it.
