The article says the fire was extinguished in 10 minutes. That doesn’t sound like an electric car fire.

Electric car fires are notorious for reigniting hours or even days after being “put out”, and this often happens multiple times.

Article said the EV exploded. Perhaps the battery blew apart into more manageable pieces. That were easier to douse the smaller fires and put out.
