In 1984, my mom came home from work with two tickets to Van Halen for me. Someone at her office went to stand in line at the box office and said, “Who wants tickets?” I sold them to a classmate and used the money to buy DuranDuran tickets 🤣😂.

If Sammy had been with them then, I definitely would have gone. 🕺🏻

I thoroughly enjoyed Sammy’s autobiography, “Red.” I had no idea he recorded the song “Heavy Metal” from the animated movie! I used to sneak into my big brother’s room when he was gone and play that song over and over.
