They are as serious as a heart attack. McCarthy has given away the store to the Dems. No debt limit until Jan 2025. Failed to pass appropriations bills as part of regular order. $2 trillion dollar budget deficit this fiscal year ending in September 2023. $700 billion in debt servicing costs projected to go over a trillion next fiscal year, bigger than DOD’s budget.
What have the Reps done to reduce spending? And expect McCarthy to push more money for Ukraine while the border remains wide open. McCarthy is using Dem votes to pass legislation that the majority of his own caucus voted against violating the Hastert rule.
Business as usual. Look for an Omnibus bill in December.
