I worked at Angola Prison in Louisiana. Pedophiles can NEVER be rehabilitated. Therefore they have to be a ward of the state forever and in some kind of custody. I am not sure the death penalty is the answer but I am sure of my point mentioned above.
Life in prison in the General Population would suffice. Let them answer to other inmates. Many would be killed in prison long before a death sentence is enacted.

The death penalty for certain crimes was established by God, and it's not about retaliation or retribution, but justice for a very serious offense and a means to both definitely prevent recidivism and protect society.
