The former secretary of state told CNN that Americans who support former President Trump should be sent to re-education camps. And she was not joking.
It's not the first time Democrats have called for the "irredeemable deplorables" to be punished for their "political crimes."
In 2020, James O'Keefe recorded a Bernie Sanders campaign staffer calling for Trump supporters to be sent to literal gulags.

Her suggestion came one day after Newsweek published a report alleging the FBI was targeting Trump supporters ahead of the 2024 election.
The former president's team condemned Clinton's remarks.

Tens of millions of Americans will reject the Democrat Party’s re-education camp agenda in November 2024 when we make Donald Trump the 47th President of the United States," said Karoline Leavitt, the spokeswoman for Make America Great Again Inc.
Donald Trump Jr. also blasted Secretary Clinton's Soviet-style mandate.
"This woman is truly sick," the former president's son said. "The problem is what she’s saying is in line with the vast majority of Democrat Party leaders today. When we call them Marxists, everyone must understand that that is not hyperbole and hasn’t been for quite some time."
