The Western world awoke Saturday morning to war in Israel, images of Hamas terrorists slaughtering Israeli civilians in the streets, and Hamas rockets raining down on Israeli neighborhoods. Israeli families were (and, as of this writing, still are) fleeing for their lives.
On social media, Hamas posted horrifying videos — a dead, naked Israeli woman being paraded through the streets, plainclothes Hamas fighters slitting the throats of civilians in their cars, and women and children being kidnapped and carried away to a fate worse than death.
But one thing is immediately clear: Gaza will now be reduced to rubble. Israel, on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, is once again in a fight for its existence, and the gloves will come off.
Given the long-established facts of the Israel-Palestinian question, this is as it should be. For all the talk about Nazis in Ukraine lately, the truth is that the real Nazis are in the Middle East, and they are all enemies of Israel. It’s time to deal with them for good. Hamas must be eradicated just as the Nazis were eradicated. Any end to this war that doesn’t achieve that will be a catastrophe for Israel.
For its part, the U.S. should make clear that it will veto any U.N. ceasefire resolution before Israel declares victory. And an actual victory will require Israel seizing control of all Gaza’s territory and then going house to house, seizing every weapon and killing everyone who doesn’t surrender. The Israelis will have to keep this up until the unconditional surrender of Hamas.
What does unconditional surrender look like? Let history be our guide. As Allied forces swept into Germany in 1945, tin plates bearing this proclamation from Gen. Eisenhower were nailed to posts and walls in both English and German:
I, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander Allied Expeditionary Force, do hereby proclaim as follows:
The Allied forces serving under my command have now entered Germany. We come as conquerors, but not as oppressors. In the area of Germany occupied by the forces under my command we shall obliterate nazism and German militarism. All persons in the occupied territory will obey immediately and without question all the enactments and orders of the military government. Military government courts will be established for punishment of offenders. Resistance to the Allied forces will be ruthlessly stamped out. Other serious offenses will be dealt with severely.
3. All German courts and educational institutions within the occupied territory are suspended. The Volksgerichtshof, the Sondergerichte, the SS police courts and other special courts are deprived of authority throughout the occupied territory. Reopening of the criminal and civil courts and educational institutions will be authorized when conditions permit. All officials are charged with the duty of remaining at their posts until further orders and obeying and enforcing all orders or directions of military government or the Allied authorities addressed to the German Government or the German people. This applies also to officials, employees and workers of all public undertakings and utilities and to all other persons engaged in essential work.

Hamas survives in Gaza by force, for, as best I have followed the situation over these last years, they are even brutal against other Muslims not aligned with their hard-line stance. Ditto with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Ditto elsewhere in the Muslim world, because theologically for them, "might makes right." One has watched conflicts and accommodations followed by more conflicts between Hamas and Fatah, to say nothing of their hatred of Jews.
Given that Gaza is where it is and separate from the West Bank and Jordan, these fanatics should be fully expelled from Gaza, either driven into Egypt (which doesn't want them) or into the hands of the PA and Jordan (which also don't want them). Leaving them in place in Gaza is only a plan for the "next time."
As the PA's official stance is in part "From the river to the sea....", it seems time to deny them "the sea."
Expulsion from Gaza would be their next 'Nabka'. Begin not only with military action, but also denying the Israeli-supplied water and electricity. Welcome them back to their 7th century ideals.

My solution...
Reduce Gaza to rubble, reduce the rubble to dust, make the dust burn for a week. Problem in Gaza solved.
Rinse and repeat for Hezbollah.
The only reason Anwar Sadat made peace with Israel is because Egypt couldn’t afford another war with Israel. Time to reteach that lesson: war with Israel is a losing proposition.
I guess people never learn some things. This article is calling for the eradication of a terrorist group, HAMAS, which isn’t going to happen as you can never get all of them, or, unconditional surrender from a group that has lied like a rug since it was dreamed up and has returned to do harm as a group many times.
You can’t make a deal with terrorists and you can’t kill them all. They are way to organized to let that happen. They are like cockroaches. They’ll disappear into the walls for a while then come out to feed. So this article, even though it is claiming the desire or opposites in their discussion, kill or make a deal as neither is going to pan out, is isn’t worth the paper it is written on. And it further displays the foolish idea of how our political process works based upon our “elected” officials stupidity and greed. And everyone around the world sees this, including HAMAS, and laughs at us while harming us. So this article does not help anything, but adds to the problem.

Exceeding smart. But idiots in government. It isn’t popular, but the bolshevik movement in the USSR was massively Jewish. The leaders and organizers of the America hating progressive left here is heavily Jewish. And now the Israelis, (like the Germans, which many of them are extracted from) are constantly hampered by the Holocaust and wanting to avoid anything that seems like they are acting in a genocidal manner. But they miss the salient point.
German and European Jews were innocent of all the crimes the nazis accused them of and were good productive citizens that were scapegoated to provide a unifying domestic enemy.
Hamas is a genocidal, bad citizen, murderous, existential threat.
Eradicating their culture and rendering them helpless is an act of sanity, not genocidal activity.
All cultures have their blind spots. Orientals are blinding high IQ also and yet, meekly accept and even like authoritarian highly-structured government, be it Singapore, or China. Indians are super smart, but cannot build a decent government. Jewish culture is massively filled with head shaking high IQ and intelligence, but they were world leaders in covid tyranny. Like Germans, they simply cannot be trusted with government thinking.
But I deeply hope they find the strength and wisdom to win this decisively, and in a way that terrifies the entire Arab world. What happened there was for a population of 9.5 million. In proportion, it would be the same as if 9/11 resulted in something like 35,000 US dead and 2500 raped and abducted as hostages.

Send them to places that support them, like the EU. In fact, they are surrounded by Israel, a 10 mile border with Egypt, and the sea. The Romans knew how to deal with such a position. They would surround it by sea and Israeli border, cut through the southern Gaza border with Egypt to the sea staying on the Gaza side, and let -nothing- in or out... period. Starve them like Vercingetorix. You cannot be a refugee if you cannot leave.
Unconditional surrender will never come from those told from birth that martyrdom is the highest goal in life.

Israel must eradicate more than just Hamas.
Arab Muslims are less reformable than Nazis. 1400 ingrained, bred in, supremacist ideology of conquest, vs 14 years of of Naziism.
It’s not a question of guerilla warfare. It’s total Russian style artillery bombardment till every major structure in Gaza ceases to exist. Palestinian deaths must hit a minimum of 50,000 or so before victory is even close. Another tool is shutting off their water supply. It’s a desert. Mass casualties begin in 72 hours.
No refugees. Reduce Gaza to rubble and seal alll exits, kill anything that moves. No refugees. No exit. No survivors
