One of the things I like about FR is that you don’t see any pictures unless you click on the headline, and often not even then.
Check in at FR. That’s all you need. :)
“Saltz recommends limiting your sources to one or two trusted media outlets, as well as limiting the time you spend on news to 30 minutes a day. ‘And not having that 30 minutes be anywhere close to bedtime, because it inevitably stirs people up, and they cannot sleep. And the lack of sleep makes them more anxious the next day, so it becomes a vicious cycle.’”
Not watching the news right now. There is an eclipse that is starting to wrap up here.
I wonder if the Hamas terrorists would have respected the velvet ropes in the capital like those 'insurrectionists' did. I suspect not.
I remember duck and cover drills. Kind of ho hum.
Then Nixon mined Haiphong Harbor while I was in high school, portending nuclear annihilation. I just calculated how many miles I lived from downtown Detroit and the survival odds if Detroit was an epicenter of an explosion. I figured I had a chance.
I find it most helpful to take my guns to the range and make sure they’re working well and they and I are shooting straight.
It’s very relaxing.
I just activate my prayer capsule.
Going out to breakfast.
Don't listen to CNN. Don't listen to MSNBC. Don't.
I’d add this to the list: Be very wary of those preachers who predict the End Times are at hand. Ask yourself, do these folks really know anything special?
As I see it, either you’re right with Jesus on a daily basis, or you are not.
Watching the left rip themselves apart over this one brings great joy, and re ignites the battle between Hillary and Obama within the Biden Administration.

Upon reading this very important message, I will now only watch CNN or MSNBC.
But I am now having an anxiety attack because I do not know which of trusted sources I should listen to for 30 minutes.
1. Don’t believe/watch any lame stream reporting. Including the “right wing” foxsnooze.
2. See #1 above.
🙏🇮🇱👍
1 - do not read or listen to CNN or any USA media.
2 - if you simply must have news reports - listen or read, sparsely:
- J24 Israel news website or YouTube clips
- Al Jazeera news website or YouTube
That way you get both sides of the story without USA or Euro hyperbole.
3 - Go to the park with your dog, read a book, or spend time with family
4 - Go to church and pray for the dead and for justice and peace
Practically speaking, both sides are irrevocably hell bound. My mental health is unphased.....
As soon as I see the name Sanjay Gupta I run away in horror. He was there very quickly to “helpfully” try to “prepare” us for the inevitable NEXT round of the Covid Eternal Life Pan/Scam-demic. A very dangerous political operative.
Oh that’s easy. DON’T.
Really people. Maybe check in once every couple of days. But you’re not actually accomplishing anything obsessing on the news. Live your life. Eat something yummy, fornicate your spouse. Much like how nobody on their death bed said they should have spent more time at work, nobody said they should have spent more time watching the “news”.
Recoil Therapy at least three times per week.
