Dear Ukrainians,
First and foremost, I want to dwell on the Russian attack on the Nova Poshta terminal near Kharkiv. The rescue operation has been completed, and necessary assistance has been provided to all the affected. In total, there were 17 of them. Six people were killed in this attack. My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased!
We will undoubtedly respond to Russia for every manifestation of its terror, including this attack.
Terrorists will not break the Ukrainian will to defend and protect own state, own independence by any means. The readiness of our people to work for their country, for their Ukraine. The determination to fight so that there is never any real basis for Moscow to hope that Ukraine will ever break. It will not break. It will endure. It will hold up. And despite everything, it will drive out the Russian evil from own land.
The main focus is the front, our defense, our actions, our results, and the support of everyone to those who are currently in the battle, on the combat posts, in the positions. Every day, we need results for Ukraine – to withstand Russian assaults, to eliminate occupiers, and to move forward.
Whether it’s by a kilometer or 500 meters, but forward every day, to improve Ukrainian positions, to press the occupiers. This strengthens our state. It motivates the entire world to help us. And it proves that Russia’s terror does not work.
Today, I want to mention our warriors who have distinguished themselves during these weeks. The warriors who have provided exceptional assistance to Ukraine, on different fronts and in different tasks, but equally powerfully and effectively.
Kupiansk direction, Kharkiv region. The warriors of our strong 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade – I thank you! You’ve done an excellent job!
Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions, particularly intense. Numerous Russian attacks. But our positions are defended. The 53rd and 110th Separate Mechanized Brigades, the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, and the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade – I thank all of you, warriors, for a truly exemplary defense. It instills confidence throughout the country.
And each time, it’s an honor for me to thank the warriors of the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade, which actively and effectively supports all our guys in defending Donetsk.
Lyman direction – thank you for thwarting the occupier’s plans. Our 68th Separate Hunting Brigade and units of the renowned 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade – well done, guys!
Bakhmut direction – both defense and our offensives, and our results are very, very good. I thank the warriors of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade and the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. Thank you for your strength, guys!
Among all directions in the south, I want to particularly acknowledge the paratroopers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade – Melitopol direction. Thank you, guys, for truly helping the entire front with your results.
And the next week will bring more opportunities for Ukraine – for our defense, for our protection against Russian terror, for our Peace Formula, which continues to unite the world.
Today, I spoke with the Emir of Qatar and thanked him, among other things, for the readiness to participate in the next Peace Formula meeting, as well as for the unwavering support for our territorial integrity and sovereignty. We also discussed Qatar’s mediation in the release of deported and captured Ukrainians.
I thank everyone in the world who is helping Ukraine! I also thank everyone in our country who uses each day to make us all, the entire Ukrainian people, stronger!

Day 606 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.
The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and attacks both military and civilian targets.
During the day of October 22, kremlin terrorist forces cynically launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine with 1 Kh-59 air-launched cruise missile, S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 3 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 1 Kh-59 air-launched cruise missile and 3 kamikaze drones. Civilian facilities in Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast), came under attack.
During the day of October 22, there were 82 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 10 missile and 36 air strikes, more than 35 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.
The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. About 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya, Yanzhulivka (Chernihiv oblast), Stara Huta, Demyanivka, Kruzhok, Myropilske (Sumy oblast), Pletenivka, Zybyne (Kharkiv oblast).
KUPYANSK AXIS: Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Ivanivka and Kurylivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).
LYMAN AXIS: the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 3 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Nadiya (Luhansk oblast). The occupiers launched air strikes near Nadiya, Nevske (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne, Vyimka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Nevske, Kreminna, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Novosadove, Torske, Spirne (Donetsk oblast).
BAKHMUT AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled all adversary attacks in the vicinities of Bohdanivka, Khromove, Andriyivka, Druzhba (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched air strike in the vicinities of Klishchiyivka and New York (Donetsk oblast). Around 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriyivka, Odradivka, Kurdyumivka (Donetsk oblast).
AVDIYIVKA AXIS: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Avdiyivka Keramik, Stepove, Tonenke, Opytne, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled around 20 enemy attacks in the area. Also, the adversary launched an air strike near Orlivka and Novokalynove (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Opytne, Sjeverne, Tonenke (Donetsk oblast).
MARYINKA AXIS: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defense forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks in the area. Around 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast). Around 20 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers launched an air strike near Mala Tokmachka. More than 15 settlements, including Bilohirya, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, P’yatykhatky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
KHERSON AXIS: the occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Olhivka, Lvove, Tyahynka, Tokarivka, Ponyativka, Barvinok (Kherson oblast). The settlements of Ivanivka, Stanislav (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations in the Melitopol axis, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day of October 22, Ukrainian Air Forces launched 7 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the russian invaders.
The missile troops hit 4 artillery systems of the occupiers.

Russia was informed in advance of Hamas’s plans to attack Israel, so it supplied the terrorist group with weapons and trained Arab terrorists based on its experience of war against Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, said this in an interview with Espresso journalist Yehor Checherinda.
Regarding Iran’s alleged involvement in a planned Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, Yusov said that the United States has already officially said that it has no such information, so the Ukrainian agency also has no evidence.
However, Yusov confirmed the words of the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with Ukrainian Pravda about Russia’s participation in the preparation of the Hamas attack and the provision of Ukrainian trophy weapons captured in Ukraine to Arab terrorists.
“This is 100% accurate information. The whole world has seen the visits of Hamas representatives to Moscow. And they were official visits, and they were not hidden. And during these visits, they did not discuss the development of ballet and culture, climate protection, or some kind of Kremlin-Hamas friendship evenings. It is clear what both sides were interested in. There was interaction, and weapons were transferred - some models of small arms,” Yusov said.
He noted that Russia transferred weapons to Hamas before the latest attacks on Israel, meaning that Russia was informed of the attack. These allegations, he said, are confirmed by video footage of Russian language being spoken during the attacks on Israel, which, along with other allies, was also informed of the impending attack on the country.
Yusov also confirmed Budanov’s information about the training of Arab terrorists with FPV drones conducted by Russian instructors.
“It is 100% reliable. How did we find out? Operational information, intelligence work, and more. There is also international information exchange. Yes, Russian instructors, Russia, using the so-called PMCs (did this - ed.),” the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine stressed.
He stressed that there are no private military companies in Russia, and that what Russians call PMCs are part of the Russian special services. These structures operate with the support and full funding of the Russian budget or near-budget structures.
“After all, a person who looks like Putin confirmed this about Wagner’s PMC on live TV,” Yusov added.
According to him, PMCs perform tasks, including those of the military and political leadership of the Russian ruling regime, and have been in contact and interaction with Hamas long before the attack on Israel.
“The fact that today Hamas is using the experience, including that of the Russian-Ukrainian war, with knowledge of the matter is obvious, again, to many in the world,” Yusov said.
