I have Apple TV+, but 3 1/2 hrs, I’m not likely to watch it.
I thought the book was good as an interesting historical novel. I was interested in the movie until I see it’s 3.5 hours long. I wanted to see it not live it.
Wouldn’t this be the case of white liberals again making money off the Osage people?
Anything not named “Avengers: Endgame” or “Lawrence of Arabia” does not need to be more than 2 hours.
A less complicated explanation for De Niro’s behavior is that he is a dumb shit.
Yesterday I saw a photo of Robert De Niro wearing a face mask still.
Looked like garbage based on the trailer. A story that probably could have been told in any setting.

We went to see it when it came out. I can save you 3 and a half hours of your like and $15 for the ticket. SPOILER ALERT: Indians good, white people bad.
At my age, I won't see anything longer than 2 hours at a theater, woke BS or not.
As it is, you've got to sit through 30 minutes of commercials before the show even starts. My ass ain't sitting in a seat that long unless I'm flying somewhere.
I'll watch it at home in hour-long increments.

In my opinion, DiCaprio was THE worst actor in “The Departed”
while the rest of the cast was darn good.
As far as DeNiro goes...he was NEVER a good actor, because the parts he played were HIM. He is a scumball, creep, repulsive and unsightly.
There are always parts for people who have those characteristics De Niro is lucky to have them naturally.
Oh, and I’m Italian decent and proud of the real paisanos who have real talent.
If I go to see Napoleon, I’ll leave 3 times for the bathroom. I have a nice large flat screen so I see most recent movies at home. Waiting for Oppenheimer and I’ll watch Flower Moon because I like scorcese and want to see what he did with the story.
I am sure Christmas time will bring out 1 or 2 more worthy movies. They just don’t have the buzz yet.

People are tired of these sanctimonious lectures. They can generalize about white people but you better not generalize about them.

Like you say people killing other people for their stuff is not uncommon. What made this one kind of unusual was the number of people killed.
I just saw this movie. It was a chore to get through the first hour. Got better when the FBI showed up. The radio broadcast dramatization at the end of the movie felt out of place and took me out of the movie. It didn’t fit. This movie should get a cinematography award. Beautifully shot but the story is paper thin. Acting was ok and not award winning. The length was too long and should have been 2 to 2 1/2 hours at most.
