Comedian Maya Rudolph is Minnie’s daughter, now about 45 y/o, says she used to get teased ‘without mercy’ about her mother’s hit song. It was as odd as it was unforgettable.

I don’t wish to be offensive, but I truly hated that song. I changed the station every time it came on. No problem, the song was one of those love/hate songs of the 70's.
