The Sheriff of Ramsey County (St. Paul) has his “Live on Patrol” youtube show and was talking about it. Some Mpls. shifts have gone from 14(?) squad cars to 2! He went into a Mpls. area known for stolen cars. Driving around for 45 minutes in bad and crowded areas of town he saw no cops.
He said how the number of stolen cars and other crime is being felt in the suburbs, with the criminals fleeing in the stolen cars back to Mpls. It isn’t just a Mpls. problem - but the region’s problem.
