Along with this, I would add good, systemic stretching of all major muscle groups and listening to cat purring, even if only via YouTube.
The Healing Power of a Cat’s Purr

Great article about cats’ purring. The author mentions her “nurse cat”. We have one I’ve called my nurse, too, who is very tuned in to my health and discomfort.
The weeks after hip replacement, and during Covid, my husband and I slept in different bedrooms. “Maris Crane” always slept with me, by my feet. When I had to get up in the night, she did, too, and waited by my pillow until I came back.
Then she’d lie by my pillow next to my ear and purr me to sleep. When I got up again, she’d be down by my feet again, so I assumed she knew when it was OK to leave my pillow. She never really left me until I recovered.
When I have my blood pressure taken, I visualize stroking our softest cat, and always have excellent results.
