There are people who make their fortunes on the suffering of others, including those who get paid to gaslight the sufferers.

These gaslighters serve no purpose other than to support the globalists drive to enslave free people.

My daughter and husband have 4 kids. She home schools. He’s sole provider. They use to spend 300 a week on groceries now it’s 500. That is with a half cow in freezer. One in diapers. That is for food, cleaning supplies, laundry, TP, paper towels, etc.

“What percentage of the population between 18 and retirement age is engaged in paid work?”

Well, thats the Fed EMRATIO.

IIRC the Fed no longer uses the unemployment rate for serious analysis.

The inflation is in large part due to the disastrous energy policy of this administration.

The outright lying and deception is staggering.

NOBODY hates a good economy. I suppose except the left because then they can’t control people.

The rentier, bond coupon-clipping class loves gov debt because their coupons are like gold until they are garbage in which case they will switch to real gold.

I don’t know any regular person —and I associate only with regular people — who will say that this is a good economy. That includes Democrats, of which there are plenty around here. I was at Walgreens today and noticed that a bag of Lay’s potato chips, which I have bought for years for 99 cents, now costs $2.49. While browsing, I noticed nearly everything is more expensive by far, and often for smaller packages. Meals at local restaurants have gone up about 1/3, and often for smaller portions. Who doesn’t love paying more for less? Let’s Go Brandon, 2024!

Ground chuck is 4.59 a pound..
A POUND...
They are trying to starve us out..
Force us to choose between gas for the car, medical care, heating our house, or food on the table...
You can only pick (almost) 2...

Do these reporters have slaves do their grocery shopping for them?

The insane high prices are kinda hard to miss.

The good guys need to hammer hard on “are you better off than you were four years ago”? That question goes way beyond the economy. Make the Democrats own their mess.

I looked at a five pound beef roast in the store this week. It had a sticker, reduced for quick sale.

It was marked down, from $65 to $50. Should have taken a pic of it.

My guess, the Atlantic editor's assignment to Ms. Demsas was something such as..."We need to counter the Republicans' best issue. Can you put some lipstick on Biden's horrific economic failures?

Sure Chief. How about...

"During the pandemic, the federal government provided Americans unprecedented support. It stopped evictions; it dropped thousands of dollars into personal bank accounts; it paused student-loan repayments; it gave aid to unemployed workers; it provided tax breaks to parents of young children, and billions in aid to state and local governments. In doing so, the government may have raised expectations for what a ‘good economy’ is supposed to feel like," Demsas wrote.
