Some of them are. But some have a quasi-religous attachment to Putin. Seeing him as a purveyor of purity ready to slay the western elite and usher in a a golden era of no donut punchers. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t approve of the whole lgbt thing, but Putin is a larger criminal than your average elton john type. Basically these Putin accolytes strain out gnats but swallow camels.
