I’m a very happy person. People comment all the time that I’m always in a good mood. Felt terrible after my son died, but those feelings come and go.

Nope. His infallibility is severely limited to teachings of faith or morals, speaking ex cathedra on doctrine “initially given to the apostolic Church and handed down in Scripture and tradition” and only under certain conditions. And it has been used extremely sparingly through history.

Well since homosexuality is definitely a doctrinal issue as it is most definitely a sin I guess catholics now must correct God and tell Him it is no longer a sin.
Afterall the pope has just taken a stance on this doctrinal issue and the pope is infallible doctrinally.
I would consider punishing those who condem immoral activities such as homosexuality a form of speaking on morals. Thus by your post catholics must accept his stance as infallible.
The great sin appears to be condemning homosexuality as opposed to practicing it according to the pope. Sounds like a moral issue to me.

Francis is not speaking Ex-Cathedra on the subject when he speaks his own opinion. Catholics are under no obligation to believe every utterance from his mouth, or from anybody else’s save Christ alone.
But teachings of the magisterium of the Church are infallible, and have always held tha homosexuality is sin.
