If you’re gonna charge people to eat the food dam well better be up to snuff. Restaurant provisions are generally better than supermarket for a start. And professionals generally can do it better than an amateur.

Maybe it is in lieu of “bring a dish to pass.” If the family gets together and agrees on one to foot the bill and do the prep and clean-up, maybe they think it’s worth it.Nope, spending Christmas with someone like that would never be worth it.

Nope, spending Christmas with someone like that would never be worth it.I can't get past my ad-blocker to read the story, so maybe there is more to it, but, with food prices what they are this year, I can understand someone wanting to pass the hat.
