My son used to be a youth leader at a church. He would have co-ed retreats and same-sex retreats for the kids throughout the year. Some girl wanted to go on the boys retreat, and asked what it would take for her to join them.
He replied “A ‘Y’ chromosome.”
The girl didn’t get her wish, but later the church (liberal) made the decision that the opposite sexes could join the other’s retreats.
My son just made all the retreats co-ed after that. He left shortly thereafter. He said he tried to be a source of Biblically conservative truth, but when you have to fight most of the church....
