Attorney Gloria Allred has confirmed that she is representing the family of the girl with whom Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey is alleged to have had an improper relationship.

Allred has been a famous advocate for women in cases against powerful men and celebrities for decades. She did not elaborate in an email response, saying: "We have no comment."

IMHO Gloria Allred seems to go where there's big money for a payoff through her ability to take the case to the media. That's her MO. With her it's never about trying to win in a way where the facts come out in court so that accusations can be weighed against real evidence. She tries to get money either from the accused as settlement money to make the case go away, or from an accused's competition to make the case a media sensation and destroy the accused's social standing.

As soon as I saw that she was the legal aid for one of the girls accusing Roy Moore, I knew she was there to make it more of a media circus than a litigation.
