Nope. Me neither. I am sick of the flag being lowered to half-mast for every single person under the sun the Left thinks it should be lowered for.
Years ago, I decided I wasn’t going to follow the federal guidelines any more, because the federal government doesn’t bother to.
Now it's just about every day.
Usually, the honor should be reserved for the POTUS or the SCOTUS Justice. And 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. That's about it.
Every other day, that's life.

That is true. But it is the principle I am opposed to, not as much the individual person one way or another.
Yes. The poster above pointed out that it is a SCOTUS judge, and I understand that fully. I understand the death of a former President as well, and Memorial Day, Pearl Harbor Day, and 9/11.
It is when it gets lowered all the time for everything. That bugs me to no end. And in my blue state, that happens all the damn time. I didn’t think they should have lowered them for Rosalynn Carter, but they did, and are still down.
When I see see flags at half mast for everything, it tells me we are an emotionally fragile nation, and seems to be supporting a mindset of victimhood.
We didn’t lower the flag when we invaded Tarawa, Iwo Jima, or Normandy and thousands of men were killed.
I took down my flag and have not yet put it back up yet. I cannot yet fly the flag of a country that views me as the enemy.

Sorry, but she was sitting on her credentials and consistently voted against all American value issues. I’ll keep my flag where it’s at.
