A woman in Texas who shot dead a 14-year-old boy that tried to break into the home she shares with her four daughters has said the incident left her 'devastated'.
Aleah Wallace saw Devin Baker attempting to open her eight-year-old girl's bedroom window in Fort Worth on December 14 and fatally shot him.
'I'm devastated that he was 14. I hate that. I literally do. And I'm so sorry. But at that point, I had to think about my babies,' she told Fox 4.
Police have not filed any charges against her over the shooting but the case has been sent to a grand jury.
Wallace said she got the gun to protect her family after suffering multiple break-ins which began just a few weeks ago.
'I was cleaning my living room sweeping my floor, and I heard my window start going back up,' the mother said.
'So I went, and I stood in the hallway. And I could see him standing at the window, lifting it up. I just shot.'
Baker died at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds and Wallace added: 'It's bothering me that he was a kid.'
The case is going to a grand jury and she wants people to understand that she was just protecting her family.
'I have four daughters. It’s just me and my four daughters that stay there. I just was protecting my daughters,' she said.
'I'm devastated that he was 14. I hate that. I literally do. And I'm so sorry. But at that point, I had to think about my babies.

Already trouble at 14. She prevented many rapes, burglaries, murders by the elimination of this guy and saved the state a lot of money.
A grand jury no bill protects against civil lawsuits in Texas.
I note she’s getting evicted for having a firearm.
No Texas law prohibits firearms in your residence, and I believe such a lclsuse in a lease is not permitted under the Texas constitution.

Exactly. An aspect of Texas law many apparently don't know. Going to the Grand Jury -- which will almost certainly "no bill" - actually protects her.
I it is mandatory in Texas for murder cases to go to a grand jury.

Unless it’s a girl’s locker room or shower and the stranger is a transgender.

Having not read the article, one comment says it is a subsidized apartment. If that is indeed the case then federal money is involved.
The apartment I live in gets some federal money each year. According to the girls in the office the Feds have been giving them the bum’s rush about two items...guns and tobacco. We’re set to be a smokeless facility February, 2024. When you take even the smallest amount from the king’s purse, he owns you.

And if the writer at the DM had taken a couple of minutes to bother, the writer could have learned that Deep State allows for local/state authorities to ban firearms at Sect. 8 housing.

If she were white, she might very likely be sitting in prison awaiting her trial. The msm wouod,make darn sure of it too.
