'It was just devastation, violation is what I felt,' Keyanna Evans says
The Delray Beach Police Department is asking for help to find a man who stole packages off a woman's porch Tuesday afternoon.
Keyanna Evans, who is a second-grade school teacher at Village Academy, said the packages were Christmas presents for two boys. She said video captured by her doorbell cameras shows that the thief used a shirt to partially cover his face.
"While I'm working, I'm being burglarized," Evans said. "I was in the middle of a parent-teacher conference. ... Once my conference was over, I looked at my phone and my eyes got big."
Porch Pirates should be shot on sight and medals awarded to the shooters.

Depending upon the delivery service involved, you might be able to designate a time for delivery when you could be at home to receive your packages.
Also, contingent on how close you are to a willing neighbor, I’ve heard that they may be of assistance in accepting and holding your merchandise until you are able to retrieve it.
I agree.
Black on black crime. I am trying to build up some sympathy here and failing miserably.
How do you know the criminal is black?
It’s in the video which if you had looked was clear.🤔
Does someone being a teacher make being a victim of a criminal more important? I guess the news is that someone who has a good paying job and ordered Amazon delivery to arrive during their work hours and was ripped off. There are ways to prevent porch piracy. Amazon has lockers all over the place and lots of businesses that will accept and hold packages for pickup. I have my garage open for them and they stick the stuff inside.
Unless the packages were very heavy or fragile, she should have had them delivered to her at that school, especially if they are large, attention getting packages.
Porch pirates are a major reason why I prefer brick-and-mortar stores to online shopping.
