The retailer sets the returns policy, the retailer knows that some people will take advantage of the policy, and has determined that their current policy optimizes their business model.
That doesn’t make abusing return policies right or moral.
I would rather people had good moral character.
Gee, I liked things better when people knew right from wrong and chose not to do wrong.
That is apparently in short supply in many places now.
Now, people know right from wrong, and deliberately choose wrong. And the company is at fault and needs to ruin things for everyone?
I don’t agree. Not one bit.
