Why should China assist them? Russian systems are better than that of the US.

Yes quite a display of ECM by the Russians. Tactically directing that ship to intercept the missile crossing all of crimea
WTS, all weapons systems go through counter measure, counter counter measures…..
Ukranians seem to be doing a pretty good job with ECM as well. Interestingly there was a video a few days ago where JDAMS hit several warehouses absolutely spot on while Russian glide bombs seem to be pretty inaccurate, is that ECM or are they just inaccurate?

Also interesting how 5 planes shot down, nearly stops Russian aviation from being active

Humm, well the scalp that crossed all of crimea to destroy several ships surrounded by S-400s disagrees with you. Additionally several SU pilots might as well

Thank you for that response. That’s quite apropos, for our military and technology in the USA. Will Herberg’s “cut flower culture” will be embedded in my memory and, sad to say, I’ll probably be reminded of it for the rest of my days.

Delusional drivel.

The flow of the tide continues to carry Russia away

Sounds like noise jamming. The Germans and Allies used that in World War II. The counter is antiradiation missiles.

U.S. electronic warfare (EW) is sophisticated, but also susceptible to counter measures. I suspect that the U.S. is reluctant to give away the crown jewels.

This is the first article I’ve seen since the conflict began discussing the battlefield environment absent the atypical western media & uke bias, which is why I bothered to peruse it and find it worth posting.

It’s been known for decades that our vulnerability is the tech. Iran’s capture in-flight of the RQ-170 was/is evidence to this effect. Others here have made comment re this vulnerability and some of the obviously embellished details in the article highlight some of the expected results of EW against US tech provided to the ukes.

That stated, it should be noted that NOTHING provided to the ukes is the latest technology and it should be EXPECTED that by now the Russians know how to defeat at least some of the weapons.

Despite all the mostly one-sided propaganda surrounding the conflict, we all KNOW that EW is being utilized; this is the first time I’ve seen any details whatsoever. It’s unusual that the Russians haven’t been more active in SIGINT to deny the uke advantage widely reported on an almost daily basis.

Some here understand the significance of both the chyna balloon(s) and the fact that only dated tech is being granted to the ukes. The effects described in the article, again, should be expected.

Re: 1 - there are few people that comment on the Russia-Ukraine War that have adequate discernment, and can’t stop making it personal with insults being hurled by both sides. Part of that is due to training, intellect and the ability (or lack thereof) to think critically.

Thank you for posting this.

imho the most important shift has been the denial of access of rus aircraft to the rus front line. Rus aircraft are not going there anymore because the ukes have figured out how to shoot them down even 50 miles from the front line.

I used to think that all the low iq people coming into the country would lower the standards of living for everyone.

now I don’t think that will happen.

why? Because AI will make even the dumbest doctors look good. AI will smarten up every institution for good and evil.

There’s right now a cambrian revolution scale technological revolution just getting under way because of AI.

That’s half of it.

The other half is energy.

Civilizations grows and become more prosperous because of lower cost energy. The lower and middle classes become more prosperous because of lower cost energy.

That’s going to happen in spades over the next 10-15 years.

The big energy source that will deliver will be fusion energy. That’s gone from 20 years in the future and always will be to the first production plants in the USA by 2028. The first will deliver energy for .01@kwh to microsoft.

Compared to current electricity prices—that’s. revolution on the scale of say a horse to a horseless carriage. That’s the first generation. Costs go down from there

It’s not a shift: Russia has been slow to adopt western tactics and abandon Soviet-era military C2 echelons and, at least until this conflict (not including unzipping our fly going after ragheads), the US/NATO had a strong advantage in this respect.

Another aspect not discussed in nearly any media analysis is western/US intelligence assistance to the ukes for targeting, or the effectiveness of Russian countermeasures against uke drones/cruise missiles. Just this morning another obscure article reported mysterious explosions in the skies above Crimea & Sevastopol.

The problem with the article is that it’s an oxymoron for the Russians to deploy EW to reduce the effectiveness of uke western weapons while failing to protect their field assets, including aircraft, let alone Moscow or any other assets in Russian territory.

They’ll be analyzing this conflict for decades after it’s resolved and much of the technical details will never be known, but the greatest intel beneficiary from this conflict will indisputably be chyna.

“AI will make even the dumbest doctors look good. AI will smarten up every institution for good and evil.”

I think there is a lot of truth with that statement. I don’t know if it’s more terrifying thinking of masses of stupid people allowed to function at a high level or just letting things naturally decline.

I guess the Russians are the NEOCONS since they are the ones starting and continuing the war in Ukraine.

I hope they suffer more catastrophic losses and I hope all the Russian patriots on FR wake up and cheer for human freedom instead of Russian communism under Vlad.

Your ignorance of history and the facts around the Orange Revolution is appalling. Your refusal to acknowledge that the Ukraine under Zelensky participated in the coup against President Trump outs you as a dirtbag, leftist tool. GFY.

Incorrect Redneck.

President Trump gave lethal aid to Zelensky and Ukraine. On the other hand, Biden and Obama gave Ukraine non-lethal aid like blankets. This is because they like you were in favor of Russian belligerence and failed deterrence.

The lethal aid Trump gave was for killing Russians. It has been great for killing your Russian heroes.

Biden demanded that a Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden be removed. Trump confronted that and was impeached for trying to rectify that corruption.

They impeached Trump over his call with Zelensky with the help of Ukrainian-born “whistleblower” Colonel Vindman. Fact. Leftists always lie.

You are just another crypto-globalist d-bag.

I’m thinking that that this war may cause China to think twice about invading taiwan—especially if the ukes can turn the tide of the war.

I think that’s possible they’ve got a lot more western intelligence behind them the the russians have.

I actually think the cheapest way to wage the war is by killing the jammers and sending in the drones in masse.

In winter there is just no place for the rus to hide.

the jammers have to be sending out some kind of signal that can be traced. Its highly unlikely that the ukes are not following the jammer signals to destroy them
