I never understood why my dad who was born and raised in the West in the Rocky Mountains suddenly dragged us kids, kicking and screaming to the TICK and CHIGGER infested Ozarks.
In the summer you can almost see the bushes and trees come alive with these two crawling on them waiting to bite.
