Anne Frank’s step sister, Eva Schloss, tells @piersmorgan on Good Morning Britain that the Auschwitz Liberation was faked with photographers and actors.
The Soviets liberated Auschwitz.
And she would know because.....? Crackpots make the news, and the UK news is very oriented to crackpots.

We were legal residents in Germany for decades. Our cable lead had only two English-language channels -- CNN International and BBC. For this reason, I became much more language-informed listening to the many German and French news and opinion channels. The bilge from London is .... well, bilge.
Who knows? Maybe the Soviets did recreate the liberation. But this is a damn poor time to bring it up. This will just give the Holocaust deniers more ammunition.

She says I was at the embassy and I said something puzzles me. these photographs must be fake because there is no snow. They say they are not fakes but when the army came, they didn’t have cameras, so they didn’t photograph. So much later they realized they should have videos of it, so they took pictures, like you see now. But they are definitely not in Auschwitz and not the liberation of Auschwitz.

The video was short, so I watched it.
What I got out of the video was that she was there in Auschwitz when it was liberated by the Soviets. At that time, there was snow on the ground (at least one foot).
Later, the Soviets realized that they should have taken pictures, so they did what was basically a recreation of what happened using actors. There was no snow.
The liberation did happen (she was there), but the pictures were done later.
Flag raising at Iwo Jima was recreated for the cameras.
Internet archive has some pretty horrific footage of the camp liberations.
Take my word for it, please.

Thanks for that clarification. I take back my criticism of her, and redirect it to the headline-writer.
She and her mother were amongst those liberated. I’ve no idea about the videos or snow, but she was there. She’s spoken about her experience at Auschwitz for decades, I don’t think this has ever come up.
Wait...so that means the Nazis are still operating Auschwitz?

they will show pictures of smiling white male prisoners confessing that they had it coming....
