It was free and had no ads.

There's your clue why it went broke.

Or was ordered to shut down.

I enjoyed seeing the old 1950s western TV shows.

Indians were largely portrayed as saints in those old shows, and it was surprising how many of them had an Indian character as the star of the series.

Sometimes they switch domains, because they got shut down. My anime channel got shut down, but I found it on another site.

You just may have to do some searching.

He claimed to be doing it as a “labor of love” (his words), so apparently profit was not the motive.

They were portrayed more even handedly. They were not just faceless villains (as in the 30s) or noble Saints (as today).

More than even-handed, they were largely seen as saintly, there was a lot of woke back then, it was more subtle but it is how the left works, they go overboard now but for the first few decades they led America along gently.

I’ll add something to post 8, I thought that show about the Indian Federal Marshall was well-done because his character was realistic and well-written, and he dealt with things as he really would have rather than make it always a lesson about racism, they avoided that easy and boring, and unrealistic route.

T watch METV and H&ITV with an over the air antenna. Stick a
cheap antenna in the air, hook up the coax connector,
you might be surprised what you get.

A lot of what was on there was links to films on the Wayback Machine (archive.org). Those are still there if you know how to find them.

For example:
Call of the Wild

What’s going on is someone got tired of paying for the bandwidth you were using for free. Next question.

I’ve got the over the air antenna. Love the old Hawaii Five-0 on Fridays from 11AM to 4PM back to back episodes on H&I.

Yeah, but it was very convenient having everything gathered together in one place.

The Internet Archive may be the most difficult site to search on the entire web.

That is very true and has been a head scratcher for me. 1941 they died with their boots on about Custer was that way. Injustice to the Indians was a widespread theme in those old westerns. And this was especially true in the TV westerns.

And then suddenly, in the late 60s and early 1970s everywhere you looked the left was acting like they had found something new and they needed to trash all of American history.
Hell, Hollywood had just spent 3 decades making Indians the good guy most of the time.

We put Indians on our coinage, named half our sports teams after them, gave them a much better than fair hearing in the movies. All kinds of military units had Indian symbols and names. All of our helicopters were named for Indian tribes. The USS Oglala was sunk at Pearl Harbor. Our paratroopers yelled “Geronimo!”. You rode around the Southwest on the Santa Fe Chief. Every Boy Scout lived and breathed Indian lore.

America loved the Indians and showed respect in countless ways, including films and TV. Other than American communism looking for a cause, it’s hard to make a rational case that they needed to make it into a cause in the ate 60s and afterwards the way they have.

Yeah, over the air antenna is the way to go. Some very good western channels there.
