“I was on a business trip along with several VPs from our Fortune 500 company. One of the VPs came out of the hotel room, got in his rental car and drove off.

It wasn’t his car. Some family had their belongings in the trunk. The police pulled him over. He told them what he did. They drove back to the hotel and verified his keys matched an identical car in the parking lot.”

Very rare but it does happen!!!

True story I had a Ford Escort once. The driver’s side door was damaged in a hit and run while I had it parked in a parking lot. I found a new door in a auto grave yard. Not only same color but when I put my key in the wrecked car door and IT MATCHED. A friend of mine who did body work said in all his days he never saw that happen.

When I was a kid my parents had two Chevrolet’s. Different years and models. I found out one day they shared the same ignition key.

A Minnesota Vikings player stopped at a grocery store, comes back out gets into his car and drives off

The cops pull him over for stealing the car.
It wasn’t his.
His was parked next to the one he took.
It looked just like his and his key fit the ignition
