Was there a Hillary Clinton rally going on there?

The animals were introduced to Texas about a century ago by hunters.

Not accurate. Feral hogs have been in Texas since the conquistadors introduced them in the 1500s.

Pork was a staple of the people who tamed Texas. You find them mostly in the east and south of the state. They are not desert animals.

Perhaps the feral hogs are to Texas what iguanas are to Florida, except hogs do more property damage.
Maybe Colorado can donate some of those wolves recently re-introduced to their state over to Texas, to serve as predators to the hogs.

Well...what was to be expected? These homeowners were obviously using the new Scott's Truffle Builder fertilizer.

Silly humans.

Are they sure those are “wild hogs”. The border is being overrun with sanctuary seekers right now.

All of these people live in an HOA. Let them deal with it and the hogs will be out of there by the weekend. s/

In the past 2 days I have learned that San Antonio has a spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks display and a Sea World.
Oh, and pigs.

Feral hogs are like rats, only much more destructive. They breed like flies and eat everything in their path.

In Texas, it is legal to shoot them any time of the year, without a hunting license. They are good for target practice and not much else.

The Old Testament version of charity was you left gleanings in the field. You didn’t harvest it for them, process it, cooks and bring it too them. Well maybe to helpless widows and orphans. But NOT the lazy and fools.

Folks, these are gleanings in the field for migrants. Teach them how to hunt, property rights.

They will fix the problem.

We are going to see a lot of crash and burn in 2024. This is a HOA, set back and enjoy the show because they won’t like your suggestions.

We got the same problem where we live. And you’re not allowed to shoot them.

Mexico consumes a LOT of pork. Since wild hogs are edible, if a bit gamy, there could be a pipeline of sorts of live hogs going to great stockyards and slaughterhouses down there.

I’ve read that wild hogs are not edible as they are riddled with parasites. True?
