Wild speculation: Austin has suffered something that has caused significant cognitive and/or communicative impairment, but the Pentagon and media are using this as a test run for what it would do if Biden’s cognitive decline could no longer be managed and covered up for.
Think of what happened when Woodrow WIlson had his stroke, only 100 years later and with a media apparatus that couldn’t have even concieved of back then.
