I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but America is not a Christian nation by any stretch of the imagination. As much as I would like to see this nation turn from her collective blasphemy, I simply do not see it happening. Collectively, America is nothing more than a modern-day version of Sodom and Gomorrah, replete with the exact same sins that sent judgment on those two cities and deserving of the same fate.
I was recently pointed to a commercial for TurboTax. I use TurboTax to file my own taxes and have done so nearly my entire adult life. What I saw in this commercial, while not surprising, was shockingly disgusting and is emblematic of the judgment on this nation for her rebellion against God. Romans 1 tells us that the ultimate judgment on a society that has turned its back on God is being “given over” to sexual immorality. And that’s exactly what this commercial featured—two homosexual men trying to figure out how to file their taxes jointly (like a married couple) after purchasing a house together.
America owns this. America has embraced more types of sexual perversions–from homosexuality to transgenderism, transvestism and drag queens, even bestiality and pedophilia–than could ever be imagined during the times of Sodom and Gomorrah. There are more letters to tack on to the end of “LGBTQ+++” than were even conceivable during those times. Yet, back then, God rained down fire and brimstone to destroy those cities.
Today, as America adorns herself in rainbow colors with enormous pride, God turns nations over to their sin–and that judgment is far worse than death. We can clearly see by God’s actions that God hates America.
Hedonism is never a good example of wisdom, including financial wisdom.
Use H&R Block Taxcut-more accurate anyway
I’ve seen that commercial a few times and I think I would be insulted if I was gay. They were both so stupid that they mistake an obvious dolphin call for a shark? Really?
Inner-racial sex. How naughty!
Yes, a couple dumbass fags. 👻
Guess Gillette and Bud Light didn’t convince Turbo Tax.
These ad agencies are more interested in delivering a secular message, than in promoting their client’s product.
Those companies should just say , we don’t want normal customers.
Who uses TurboTax? Oh wait, I did not mean to be suggestive.
If you use what is found in American TV and entertainment culture as a guideline for what is "popular," "normal" and "healthy" behavior - your life will become a wreck
The worst TurboTax was the black guy spitting coffee into the face of the white Semitic soy boy schlub marshmallow putz roommate. Twice. I said “I’m never buying TurboTax again!”, but forgot I was on auto renew. After this year, I will cancel. I will not forget. There are competitors, now.
Well, they did manage to get a black guy into that commercial as well. Very few whites in commercials anymore. The pandering is nauseating.
Good to know. Glad I quit TT a couple of years ago.
I bet some millenial chick runs their marketing dept
If one had to go by the TV shows and commercials he/she might conclude the homos and blacks are 96% of the USA population.
People who mistake the anus for a sexual organ aren't too bright.
Like Jake from state farm.
Ought to be Jaquan.
I remember when David Paterson, who had succeeded Eliot Spitzer as NY State's Governor, wanted to charge taxpayers $10 to file their State taxes. I called his office, and told him I simply wouldn't file any taxes if they were going to charge me $10 to file paperwork, to tell them I owe them nothing, and they owe me no refunds. I worked for the State of New York for 25 years. Paid taxes on my pension fund all the years I had it, so that when I retired, I didn't have to pay any taxes on my pension. They don't tax my social security or my pension. I have nothing to claim, no income, own nothing, no savings, stocks, bonds, no interest to report, no property, zippo, but every year, I have to fill out a 7 or 8 page return with mostly zero's throughout, and submit it.
