Malavin and his team have sent off an urgent communique to AlGore, AOC, and Greta asking if the promised Globull Warming could be expedited so that many more organisms could once again infect all life on Earth. In the communique, Malavin stated he would insist the organisms only infect President Trump and MAGA supporters.

From Wiki:
In 1702, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek gave a detailed description of Rotifer vulgaris and subsequently described Melicerta ringens and other species. He was also the first to publish observations of the revivification of certain species after drying.

Fun fact: James Arness played the Thing in the original movie. He sure did....the remake was far superior. There was a prequel that was pretty good too...also called The Thing I think.

How about tardigrades? They’re pretty resilient, too.

I agree.
Usually I prefer the original, but John Carpenter's "The Thing" was much better.

“understanding how specimens — perhaps even humans — can be preserved for generations”...
Following the three Otrauma administrations, I suspect the cryobionics business is headed for bankruptcy...

So the nerds didn’t get out of the lab long enough to watch ANY Jurassic Park movies? About as brilliant as spitting the atom.

I thought The Thing (2011) was pretty good but the critics didn’t. It was a prequel to John Carpenter’s The Thing
(1982). It details the incidents at the Norwegian encampment that preceded the American’s. The film ends with them chasing the dog in the helicopter scene from the 1982 movie............. ...............

I saw that, and I liked it too. I thought they did a very good job of leading up to The Thing.
It was definitely 100,000% better than the crap they make today :/

Yes, the events of the 2011 film precedes the events of the 1982 film. It ends where the 1982 film begins with the same scene, the Norwegians chasing the dog in the helicopter and shooting at it before crashing the helicopter............
There have been rumors for years that Carpenter wants to make a SEQUEL to the 1982 film.
There was an ‘UNOFFICIAL’ sequel “The Thing Returns (2021) made by another studio...............
