A Blizzard in Buffalo in January?!
That would be amazing...........................
We now will see how the NFL’s new target audience, liberal women, supports the playoffs.
Steelers @ Bills...
It’s going to be a hell of a game!
Hope the democrats let them play and don’t cancel it so they can virtue signal about ‘climate change’.
Good grief, AccuWeather are such hacks.
There’s no blizzard forecast for Sunday in Buffalo. None. Zilch.
To have supposed meteorologists even allow that to be in the title of an article is just proof of their click bait mentality.
I use AccuWeather for following current conditions, but their forecasts suck
I was 15 years old in 67. And I was a Chiefs fan too. It was a great game. Bart Starr was the man for me back then. I wanted Green Bay and the Chiefs in the Superbowl. I was really happy when the Packers beat the Cowboys and nearly got thrown out of the folks house when they beat the Chiefs. I’d love to see a rerun this year. Not likely but hell that’s why they play the games. Regards
Jerry Kramer and his $million-dollar block.
Must be global warming.
They were going to build a dome in Tonawanda, where there is much less snow than Orchard Park.
Well, it’s keeping everyone from talking about the hellacious cost overruns for the new stadium.
Or why Damar Hamlin hasn’t been playing.
It happens but after the Blizzard of 77, the criteria for declaring a storm a *blizzard* were set up and conditions have to be almost life threateningly bad. Lots of snow and sustained winds of 35 mph or greater for several hours.
IF these are truly going to be blizzard or near blizzard conditions, they they are fools for not canceling the game. The fans MAY be able to dress for it, but the players will certainly suffer.
As it has for many centuries, the amount of sunlight falling on the Northern Hemisphere has been at its smallest on December 21, the Winter Solstice. As with almost all heating, temperatures resulting from this, lag the heating source by a few days. In the US, that lag is 3 to 4 weeks. This makes the upcoming week, historically, the coldest week of the year. This weather should not surprise anyone.
There are thousands of temperature records in the US. They all hit their minimum in the middle of January.
A Blizzard in Buffalo in January? Darn it, I was going to plant palm trees to honor GLOBAL WARMING before the game... 🤓
As Greta would say, HOW DARE YOU, Blizzard!!
Watch it on TV where the beer is in the fridge and a blanket on the couch......
This is the way football should be played.
I hope all this climate change hasn’t seen people to toss out their Stadium coats
Pass out furry mittens and blankies for the players sitting on the bench.
Well, not many are going to see the Kansas City game since it’s on Peacock.
