I get it now. This plateau is also the size of Guyana, but since nobody knows how big that is, the editor switched the comparison to Idaho, whose surface area is known to entire middle-school classes that have an Internet connection and can sometimes be talked out of watching porn on the Disney channel during geography class. At least that’s how I think it went down. Also Guyana has to import all its potatoes. So there’s that.
