The black community has been “very concerned” since they found out blacks are a minority in major league baseball.......but in the nfl and nba they feel the ratios are completely fair.
How do the Hispanics/Latinos feel about their percentage in MLB?
The fact is that the entire island of the Dominican Republic is nuts for baseball. Kids that are too poor to have shoes start playing baseball at age four.
I am told it is now more popular than football(soccer).
In MLB they complain about not enough US blacks. They also complain because Hispanic players are reducing the openings for blacks, so the blacks are closer to the overall US race percentage. The total focus on race and sex distributions is wearisome. Who is going to fight to defend such a country?
Yet not a word about the NHL
