A phobia is an irrational fear. I’m not an Islamaphobic - my fear is quite rational.

Islamophobia is not a real thing. A phobia is an irrational fear and an exaggerated response to that stimulus. Fear in the presence of a dark threatening individual is perfectly rational, and Hamas has all the marks and reputation of a collection of dark threatening individuals. That they are also regarded as Muslim makes them no less threatening. Their reputation has assured most other non-Muslims that violence may erupt at any moment, for reasons not apparent to the non-Muslim.
It’s not phobia, that’s an intimidation play to belittle people. It’s unwillingness to bow to the evil.
