I grew up near the great metropolis of NYC and could only get the few offered TV games. Waited for Howard Cosell on MNF to see the rest and that didn’t include everything. Relied on box scores in the local paper for football and baseball. The TV has now been turned off and only box scores remain.

I've got the Chiefs in the first game. In part because of Mahomes record, out of 79 career pro starts he's only been the underdog 8 times and he's 6 - 2 straight up in those games.

Of course I'm picking The Lions because they don't quit and they have the most dangerous man in the NFL - Dan Campbell.

Sorry for the delay in posting the final results, I've been dealing with a flooded basement, and more snow today. I know I know, I sound like I'm from California or Florida with the constant crying, actually I probably would be crying more if the Lions won rather than lost.
