F1 Rejects Andretti ping!
FIA, always finding a way to be dumb. I’m laying odds that Andretti will get in by buying one of the frequent name changer.
They should have been honoured to have the name Andretti on their poxy grid....and Cadillac.
As the racing is a total bore Andretti should be happy, to stay away.......they’ll have much more fun in any other series, especially IMSA.

Kids racing go-karts on a dirt track is more exciting than F1.
It’s Ferrari and the arabs that have been blockading Andretti for decades.
Liberty Media bought F1 undoubtedly with the intent of the Andretti’s racing. At some point, Ferrari and the arabs will either give in or go form LIV/F2 racing and dilute a product that is already boring.
Ridiculous Reasons strike again.
The BIGGEST problem? Andretti is AMERICAN. The vast majority of the big money sponsors for the existing teams come from the US. The other teams are scared that an American team would/could suck up all the American sponsorship money leaving them to fight for money elsewhere.
Heck, a full third of the field currently ain’t competitive. Possibly even half.

Andretti was stupid for choosing this point in history to try to get into F1 anyway because the sport has sold its soul to the MMGW contingent. Not to mention the regulations are so narrow and confining that it’s effectively “spec” racing, and they’ve got the aerodynamic rules so screwed up that overtaking (particularly at the front of the field) is rarer than hobbyhorse turds.
The only reason the sport survives is they’re trading on past glories and the event itself is more social occasion than sporting event.
